Live! At the Boscoe Barles Backyard Center for the Performing Arts

Backyard performance has always been one of my favorite ways to present shows. An opportunity for intimacy, hospitality, and unexpected catharsis in such a casual setting. Concerts have popped up at 290n6 since moving in but the need for live performance kicked into high gear in the Late Fall of the Year of Corona. Live! At The Boscoe Barles Backyard Center for the Performing Arts followed Cory and Smin with socially-distanced, masked showcases. We solidified the format and relaunched in Spring 2021 with queer-focused concerts, new plays, comedy and general merriment.
