HONEY STING is a refraction of Euripides’ The Bacchae with elements of Afrofuturism, tragedy, and Fashion Bees.
We are in a grocery store. We are shopping. It’s a place of business.
There are the workers, the managers, the owners and you are the customers.
This place is real or has the feeling of realness.
Honey Sting was workshopped at The New Ohio Theatre part of American AF and featured Lawryn LaCroix, Nicolette Stephanie Templier, Brandon Weber, & Nilan Johnson.
